Martello was founded by Martin Nielsen in Herning, the head quarter for textile production, back in 1948, where 56% of the total industrial employees were employed in the textile industry.

These characteristics made Martello the biggest supplier in Northern Europe for European Key Accounts.
Today Martello is relaunched by former employees, as supplier of knit wear for uniforms and fashion, where the old characteristics are being brought into the future. The new founders contribute with more than 100 years of experience with in knit wear and with strong competencies with in business development, logistic, sale, design and last but not least production and sourcing all over the world.
